We work, then we sleep, then we take care of errands, then we pay bills, then we work again.
And in the in-between, we get rewards: a new car, a promotion, a raise, maybe even a puppy.
And we think, ”This is fine.”
But it’s not fine, is it?
It’s barely enough.
It’s busy.
And kind of stifling.
And it’s not what we want, but it’s what we keep doing.
Because we think this is just what we get.
We hit an age and we settle.
But it doesn’t have to be that way.
So I made a decision.
I’m changing it for myself.
It is hard work.
And sometimes it breaks me down.
But every success, every celebration, every small step forward tells me I’m heading toward something amazing.
I’m in a constant state of panixcitement.
But I’m doing it for a happier future.
A happier now.
I’m doing it in service of my colleagues, my clients, my friends, my family, myself.
Because I don’t want to settle for fine.
I want amazing.
What will you do to step out of fine and into amazing?
